My Insight in Nature of ICT in the context of my life, society, and professional track (STEM)

                     ICT or Information Communication Technology refers to technologies which provide us to access more information through the use of technology and help us to communicate people even they are far from our place we can still communicate with them. It plays an important role to us humans because it makes our life easier and it helps us in our daily lives. The internet has become an integral part of every individual’s life. Even in school, work and where ever you are because nowadays, the technology is very advanced Information Communication Technology (ICT) is one of the very important ways to revolutionize the way we communicate with each other.

                    ICT is useful and helpful. Through ICT we can easily communicate to other people who is far from us, we can gather information through ICT, and the most important is that we have more time to relaxed since we can make our work done in less time. Another effect of ICT in society is that it allows people or workers to work from their home or should we call work from home for example in our situation right now because of this pandemic many employees have been working from their home instead of going to their workplace to be safe from this COVID-19 virus. And also, nowadays the introduction of online shopping and online food delivery like like Lazada, Shoppee, Zalora, Grabfood, Food Panda and etc. had become a trend many people remained in their home instead of going out for a shopping or buying a food and also because of ICT it gives people opportunity to work even they are in their home and also reducing to the need of travel into their works or offices it also lessen the traffic pollution from people who are no longer required to commute to work.

                    As a student I always attach to a lot of necessary things in my life, ICT help me to my studies and to communicate others. Every day at school I need internet because I need to research some things related to my lesson that I can’t understand and also it helps me in my school works. Like in this time of pandemic we are required to stay at home to study to keep us safe also in that case use of technology is really needed. In my chosen strand STEM (Science Technology Engineering, and Mathematics), for me ICT help me to understand our lesson well and it is one of the key to learn new things. And it can also help me to develop and improve my skills and learnings to the field of my chosen strand.

                    Technology make our lives easier and it can help us in many ways such as we can communicate to our love ones whose far from us, we can gather information, and also, we can use technology for business to earn money. However, there’s more bad effects than good effects if we didn’t use it properly and wisely.
